Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Amberace collects through amberace.co.uk and amberace.ai, why, and what you can do about it. Amberace is the trading name of Amberace Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17337843), registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. Amberace Ltd is the "controller" of your information under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Questions or requests: hello@amberace.co.uk.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, business or company name, email or phone number, what you need help with, and your message, whether you use a contact form on either site or email us directly.
- If you become a client. Details we need to do the work and invoice you, such as your billing details and access to your domain or accounts.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote (legitimate interests, or steps before a contract at your request).
- To deliver and invoice the work you ask for (performance of a contract).
- To keep business and tax records (legal obligation).
We never sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: our email provider (Google), our website host, and, for clients, payment and accounting tools. Some of these may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after the work ends, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop using it. Email hello@amberace.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
